I have a new favourite makeup brand.
It's a big deal for me because I'm one to stick to what I know and to not branch out, so for me to be using a new brand, it's kind of a big deal.
Designer Brands cosmetics are a fabulous makeup brand. It's all affordable makeup and it has amazing staying power.

So I figured I'd give you a bit of a run down of the products that I'm using from Designer Brands.
Foundation:
Designer Brands have three different lines of foundation, but the ones I have been using are from the Lightweight Oil-Free line. I have two shade 645 & 646, called Classic Ivory and Nude Beige. The reason I have two shades is that my skin tone is actually in between the two shades so a blend of the two works best for me.

Primer:
One minor flaw with the foundations is that they can clump a little on your skin. This is to be expected considering the price and, if you use the Designer Brands Pre-Foundations Moisturising Primer before your foundation then your foundation can be applied with a flawless finish.

Mascara:
The DB Lash Extensions Mascara in Black, is amazing. It's nice and thick and looks amazing. I like a thick mascara because I feel that otherwise my eyes may be hidden behind my glasses. Using their mascara helps my eyes to stand out and I love it.

Pro Contour Palette:
The Pro Contour Palette is amazing. The different highlight and contour shades are amazing and they are easy to apply. The palette has three highlight shades and three contour shades and this means that there are lighter shades for a daytime look and darker shades for a nighttime look. Considering how inexpensive this palette was, it is a great buy.

I've been using these products a lot recently and I love all the DB products.
I'll probably buy some more of them over the holidays, so keep your eyes peele for a DB cosmetics makeup look soon.
